I love him. I’m tempted to say why don’t all guys think like this but that’s a pretty big generalization.. There’s a few that probably do but just don’t express it. And there’s those that know all the answers in their head but the fear of failure and not meeting expectations (their own and those of others) keep them doing the same thing.. Playing it safe day in and day out, just because the risk of being worser off or regretting it later outweighs needing to know what fulfillment and happiness is all about. We all have our demons and I really believe the worst demon is the quiet self sabotaging one.. The one that makes you battle the same situations everyday whilst in the back of your head saying that you should be happy but you’re just not trying enough.. or you’re not good enough to make it work. It’s bullshit. Doing the same thing over and over, toxic relationships and unfulfilling jobs dont happen because you aren’t good enough.. they happen because you were too scared to walk away from them and reach your full potential. You brought in to “accept it, that’s just how it is”. Real men know that success, masculinity and courage come from the lessons you learn.. not what you earn.
